I am asking for prayer for healing, peace, and for joy restored. There is a young girl who was like an adopted daughter to me and my family. She went to church with us and a lot of places with us. I am a minister, and I have ministered to and counseled this girl, and our family has cared for her for 10 years or so. She had a very rough and hurtful family life and we became like her “adoptive” family. She followed the Lords call on her life and worked at camp this summer. As a result, she has left our church and now spends all her time with the camp leaders and their church. All this is great because she is a good girl and I am thankful she is at church and good role models. But now she completely ignores us now and acts as if we don’t exist, literally. It hurts us terribly because we now feel like we are a chore for her. I’m hurt because I feel like I have lost a daughter and there is a coldness I just don’t understand. Also…I just feel used. It has hurt my heart so badly that my energy and creativity is gone; I feel let down and a little angry about how we have been treated. And I know this is a long letter, but I need prayer in many areas. If I could bother someone to please pray with me on these things, I would be so grateful. Pray God will give new excitement and new connections for us in our ministry and new young people to minister to. Pray that He will restore my energy and creativity. Refocus my eyes. Pray that my mind and heart will not focus on what is lost, but rather focus on what is yet to come. Pray that I will NOT think or focus on the one that has suddenly removed us from their life and open my eyes to see who the Lord is bringing into our life. And I know this particular prayer may be selfish, but Pray that this young girl remembers and the Lord will trigger memories in her heart that will remind her of the people who love her and miss her so much. Pray the Lord will change her heart and fill her heart with the desire to reconnect. Help her to see and feel conviction on how her actions and coldness has really hurt some people that don’t deserve the way they are being treated. And, if it is His will, restore this relationship; bring it to another spiritual level. If it is not His will, pray that I and my family will be able to move forward and forget. Pray that the Lord will send hurting young people who are searching for answers…and let the Lord’s Words be my words, so that healing will be done, in His name. Restore our ministry and give me the strength to allow myself to love completely, even though that love may result in hurt. Thank you for your time and for listening to my request.

In His Name,

Hal

[We read] In the King James Bible, Ezekiel 22:30: "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."

O God, please help us and teach us to build a wall [of prayer] around the USA, Canada, Poland and Great Britain. Are you ready to stand in the gap, where God is the Helper and Teacher?

Please pray that Great Britain, Poland, the USA/Canada would overcome for: (The Acts 26.18).

* Poland, pray for freedom from dead religion to saving faith of Jesus Christ as the Saviour and the Lord by faith only,

* the Church in the USA & Canada & Great Britain – Pray for repentance and cleansing of the church - Matt. 3.12 "Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

* my family:

1. Stir up the hearts of my family for ministry for me, my wife Dorothy, our daughter Ann, and our sons Peter and Daniel - "..but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" Joshua 24.15

2. Pray for God's will, wisdom, discernment, revelation and recognition for me and my family; I ask God for Edmund’s work situation, God's direction for Edmund , Dorothy, Peter, Daniel and Ann (also God's protection over the company where she works),

3. God's order in my work. I ask God for great wisdom at my work. Blessings and the knowledge of Jesus Christ for my bosses. Thank God for the continuation of my work.
